Following the release of the Rho ottomans and the Brace table earlier this year, Davis Furniture is excited to introduce eight new products, officially launching August 18th.

These introductions include new variations on the iconic Ginkgo chair; two lounge collections, JP Lounge and SoMod, each uniquely-suited to different environments; and Ariel, the first collaboration between Davis and new designer, Mario Ferrarini; to name a few.

See below for a snapshot of each new product and stay tuned for more information as we get closer to our late summer launch!

Kayo by Jonathan Prestwich

Kayo

Kayo is a reinterpretation of the classic bent plywood chair, exploring the potential of this time-tested material while defining its own unique aesthetic. Through a marriage of soft curves and strong geometry, Kayo’s striking form is comprised of a sculptural bent plywood shell supported by a distinctly architectural solid wood or aluminum base.

Kayo embraces design versatility through providing designers with a myriad of options.

SoMod by jehs+laub

SoMod

SoMod is the new modular lounge collection inspired by the smooth, organic forms of the Soft Lounge collection. SoMod’s profile featuring sculptured edges and continuous lines is a showpiece of modern design. Bringing residential comfort to its tailored silhouette, SoMod prioritizes relaxed lounging through a low profile and generous seat depth.

LightWork by Jonathan Prestwich

LightWork

Combining instant comfort with a casual aesthetic, LightWork is a multi-use chair which provides unique solutions to the ever-changing workplace. A patent pending mechanism integrated within the seat adapts to the user and provides a gentle recline that supports natural movement.

Offered in a range of outer shell plastic colors with matching powder coat base finishes.

Ginkgo Rope by jehs+laub

Ginkgo Rope

Ginkgo Rope is the newest iteration of the classic Ginkgo chair. While staying true to the series’ iconic silhouette, each piece is trademarked by a complex curvature mimicking the Ginkgo leaf. This fresh addition expands the Ginkgo family’s offering through embracing a new material — durable polyester rope. Broadening the collection’s design opportunities, Ginkgo Rope provides a unique perspective to the emblematic design.

Compatible for indoor or outdoor settings, Ginkgo Rope includes a chair, barstool and an eye-catching lounge.

Ariel by Mario Ferrarini

Arial

Ariel embodies a minimalist approach to design with a focus on its form and functionality. A result from the first collaboration between Mario Ferrarini and Davis Furniture, this refined, light-scale side chair’s design is forged from steel and then refined with wood elements on the seat and back.

Ariel’s unique details add a sense of modern playfulness that is impossible to overlook.

Disc by jehs+laub

Disc

Inspired by the Ginkgo Wire table collection, Disc is a new series of ottomans and stools defined by their elegant form and the surprising versatility owed to their light weight design. Upholstered tops provide seating comfort while the geometric base design wows with visual intrigue.

Ginkgo Barstool by jehs+laub

Ginkgo Barstool

The Ginkgo Barstool is an elegant yet durable extension to the Ginkgo family with an organic aesthetic that is both instantly recognizable and utterly unforgettable. The Ginkgo collection is trademarked by the complex curves, thin lines, and optimal strength of the bent plywood shell.

JP Lounge by Jonathan Prestwich

JP Lounge

Addressing the need for different kinds of open office, lounge and workspaces, JP Lounge is comprised of options that support casual work, communication and collaborative group activities.
